Eco-Friendly Funerals

We are all becoming more aware of protecting the environment we live in, and it is because of this we at JP Ward & Sons have chosen to introduce an environmentally friendly range of coffins.

Our range of willow basket coffins are handwoven from either golden willow or a mixture of green and brown willow which creates a two-tone effect. Manilla or Hemp is then woven into the basket to create loadbearing handles and the interiors are finished in a simple calico lining.

All our environmental range can be used for either cremation or burial in a traditional cemetery or we you may wish to choose burial in a woodland burial ground such as Woodbrook Natural Burial Ground in Killane, Co. Wexford.
